If Use Printer Offline greyed out, then hit Open As Administrator, next enter your administrator password, and then hit Yes.

If the printer status shows Paused -

(Windows 7 or next):

You need to Right-click the icon available for your Brother printer> See what's printing> Printer> Pause Printing (eliminate the checkmark).

If Pause printing greyed out, click Open As Administrator and enter the password for an administrator, and then click Yes.

If a copy of your Brother printer's icon listed in the Devices and Printers (For instance:- Brother XXX-XXXX (Copy 1)):-

A copy of your Brother printer with the same printer name may get generated if you:

  • Connected the Brother printer to a separate USB port on your computer.
